Life's a blur...

Went round Liverpool street, Brick lane, the City yesterday... got a few men... t'was a productive day indeed......

i didn't even realise what was written above him til just now! too fuckin rad.

i wanted his photo coz he had a sweet hand tattoo and rocking shoes!

next up, an old teddy boy on the bus. i should have got a pic of his snakeskin cowboy boots... damn hindsight.

theres only so many times u can try and get the same mans photo on a crowded bus before settling for blurry. Another thing.... i can't for the life of me figure out how to turn off the *kuchhhhhhtch* sound my phone feels the need to spew out every time i take a photo... making life a whole lot harder than need be.

This guy was walking at lightning speed.

last up, when i got home, i spotted this cute couple house hunting, and couldn't figure how i could possibly capture the gent seeing as his misses was in front of him. i got my phone out anyways, ever ready, and she DUCKED at the perfect moment. bless her.

jolly good.

SADD

got a good'un on the tube with Sam the other day.... you can see us sneakily grinning in the background.

so the weather is still dismal, making the old men miserable.

come on sunshine, my blog is suffering.

seems this weather not only keeps all my old men indoors, but when they do nip out to the shops, they aren't best pleased about it.

seems smiles are lacking at the minute....

this too shall pass.

new year, new men

So, the cold has well and truly reduced my likelihood of obtaining some good old men shots these past few weeks for 2 reasons....

a) old men don't come out in the cold so much
b) my fingers are too cold to get my phone, get to the camera setting and take a photo in the allocated time i have.

bummer.

this doesn't mean i haven't been trying... so gimme a break.

here goes....

i gotta say, i am loving his wife's red dragon jacket in the background.
class

bus stops.... god bless 'em

this and my next shows how out of practice i am at on the move shots. i hope i haven't lost my mojo :(

confused old men are awesome to take photos of, coz they don't move for a good while.... maybe the odd head scratch, but thats it.

apologies for my finger bottom right corner (wow, that reads.... a little wrong. "finger bottom...."). I was waiting to cross a road and got this in record time might i add.

public transport is a saving grace during these dark cold months.

long story....

indoor shots in pubs are proving awful. bring back the summer, where it stays light for long, and old men enjoy being outside.

took this last night in a pub that shall remain unnamed. and those in the know will know Freemasons occasionally hold meetings in the function room upstairs, and halfway through my pint, they started filing out, and my god, did they have the most impeccable facial hair... proper curly wurly moustaches to put most to shame, but i just couldn't get a good pic. (this guy wasn't one of them.... he was just unfortunate enough to be stood stationary long enough for me to try and get a photo.)

devastating.
